Containment
Stop the bleed before you detach
You can't think your way out of this.
Right now your nervous system is in survival mode. Logic doesn't work when you're flooded. Willpower fails when the craving hits. Before we can detach, we have to stop the bleeding.
This module is about containment. Not healing yet. Just stopping the damage.
Why You Keep Breaking
Every time you check her social media, you get a hit. Every time you text and get nothing back, you get a crash. Every time you imagine her with someone else, your cortisol spikes.
You're not weak. You're in withdrawal. And like any withdrawal, the only way out is through discipline your body doesn't want to give you.
Containment isn't about feeling better. It's about stopping the behaviors that make it worse.

The Urge Protocol
When the craving hits, follow this exactly. Don't skip steps.
Remove The Triggers
Make it harder to relapse. Environment design beats willpower.
The urge to reach out usually masks:
The Goal
Containment isn't about being strong. It's about being strategic. Every day you don't contact her, your nervous system gets slightly less dependent on her for regulation.
You're not punishing yourself. You're protecting yourself. There's a difference.
