Identity Beyond The Bond
Somewhere along the way, you lost track of who you are without the pursuit. Your identity got absorbed into the chase, the waiting, the trying to win her back. The bond didn't just take your peace it took your center.
You exist without her validation. You existed before her. Your worth is not her approval.
The Before-During-After Inventory
Who were you before the bond?
- What did you like that had nothing to do with relationships?
- What were your opinions, goals, passions?
- Who did you spend time with?
- What made you feel solid?
During the bond, what got lost?
- What did you give up?
- What goals did you abandon?
- Who did you stop seeing?
After what do you want back?
The Reclamation Practice
This week, reclaim one thing:
- A goal, something you were working toward before her
- A boundary, something you stopped enforcing
- A friend, someone you neglected
- A ritual, something that made you feel like yourself
You're not becoming someone new. You're uncovering who you were before the bond buried you.
The Reclamation List
Write down 10 things that are yours that exist completely separate from her:
These can be interests, goals, friendships, habits, places, skills anything. The only rule: it must be yours, not connected to the bond.
